2016 Xbox Exclusives

With just hours left until the end of the 2015 gaming year we look towards a promising future for console gaming especially for the Xbox brand. Microsoft has few exclusive titles and with the loose of its Xbox first content for early access to Call of Duty multiplayer maps. The three major Xbox Exclusive must have are Recore, Gear of War 4, and Halo Wars 2. Two of the tree titles are squeals while Recore is a completely new project we got a sneak peak at, at this past E3.

First up is Halo Wars 2. Halo Wars was the first huge on the Xbox 360 with an amazing story, a fun and original cast that worked well with everything in game and even the cut scenes. Halo Wars was also the first Halo themed game to be made by a studio that was not originally Bungie. The game was a build on the original Halo idea of Halo being a real time strategy game. The game had a honest of unique units other than the slandered Marines, Spartans, Tanks, or Warthogs even though they are still in game. The new units were a flamethrower troops, exo-suit equipped Marines, two new aircraft assault craft, and the Grizzly. Halo Wars 2 only has a trailer that feature one of the three Spartans from the original game and a monstrous new Brute Chieftain.

The second exclusive squeal is Gears of War 4. This new game from the Coalition the new developing studio of any and all Gears of War games. Not much is known about Gears 4 other than it seems to have characters who are related in one way or the other to some of the main characters of the original series. Gears 4 also has a new type of enemy that looks like an over grown up armored cockroach that soft under belly is its only flaw and has a nasty habit of shooting needles from its nasty tail. The game will feature classic weapons with a new flashlight attachment to the lancer assault rifle and the shotgun brought back and its feels just as classic as it did in the first Gears of War title released a few years ago.

Recore is the first original exclusive coming to the Xbox one in 2016. ReCore tell’s the adventures of a girl and her robotic dog counter part with a power core that can be used to power other robots missing there cores. There are also robots in this dessert landscape of the planet that are trying to kill you their cores are red. However you can capture these cores and re-use them as a means to activate friendlier robots to help against the red core robots. ReCore will be available for purchase in the second half of 2016 so sometime this summer or early fall.

Microsoft may not have a strong line up of exclusives or even limited exclusives but the few sequel that are coming to the Xbox one in the near future. Pre order all these exclusives on Amazon.
